This train was just getting ready to leave the Livingston yard when I pulled up at the old depot yesterday. The sun had finally come out so I decided instead of just shooting it in town I'd race up the frontage road and find a spot to catch it on the climb towards the pass.

Westbound BNSF unit grain train on MRL tracks. In the lead is BNSF Dash 9-44CW 4802, BNSF C40-8W 849, BNSF Dash 9-44CW 4338 and MRL SD70ACe 4313. The MRL 70ACe was cut in at Livingston before the train continued. It was a short train, so no mid-train or end-of-train helpers.

That looks like something right out of a model railroad, excellent capture!
I love the way the mountains make the train look so small! Great capture:clap:

Many thanks! I saw several Warbonnets on this trip, including a rare Dash 8-41CW.
