Four Big Macs to Go

Railfans - like most every photographer of any type - know that quite often being in the right place at the right time is all it takes to get some of your best photos.

I was on my way to work and decided to drive down by the yard since I had some time, but I had forgotten to turn on my scanner so I was taken completely by surprise when I approached the crossing to find four Big Macs approaching with an eastbound empty unit coal train!

The train is led by BNSF SD70MACs 9492 (ex-BN 9492), 9633 (ex-BN 9633), 9464 (ex-BN 9464) and 9866.
