Artist's Comments

A trio of Montana Rail Link helpers running light back into the Livingston, MT yard after helping a train over Bozeman Pass on March 7, 2008. This was the first day the tracks were open after a derailment five miles west of Helena on March 5 and it was very busy.

This set is SD45-2 310 (ex-ATSF 5707), SD45R 315 (ex-SP) & SD45-2M 346 (ex-N&W 1760).

The mountain in the background is part of the Gallatin Range.

A beautiful scene that just happened to have locomotives in it. You have really taken it up a notch lately. Your photography keeps getting better and better. This photo is breath-taking.

There's something about this image that I can't put my finger on that makes it very appealing. It does have tremendous depth, almost like you could step right into it....perhaps that's it. :+fav:
